Victorian Cut Glass Globe and Shaft Decanter

Height (including stopper): 25 cm (9.75 inches)
Height (excluding stopper): 19 cm (7.5 inches)
Diameter (at widest point): 12.5 cm (5 inches)

The neck of the decanter is decorated with 8 flute cuts and the body has a row of small, concave printies. The base is star cut. The blown-ball stopper matches the decanter in every detail with a deep, flute-cut neck, a row of concave printies at its widest point and a star-cut top. Inside the stopper there is a teardrop with a sharp point. The stopper is a good match but, unfortunately, not the original (the decanter is etched with a number 6, the stopper with a number 5. Good lead content.

Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Some minor surface scratching.
