Victorian Hand-Blown Water/Lemonade Jug

Height: 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
Diameter (at widest point): 12.5 cm (5 inches)

This is a lovely example of a mid-Victorian water or lemonade jug. It is very well made, with thick, heavy glass and solid, applied handle. It is plain, apart from 3 concentric ridges, roughly two thirds of the way up. It has a ground and polished pontil.

Immaculate condition. No chips or cracks. Hardly any surface wear, even to the base. There is a very small amount of surface scratching. The usual stiration and tiny air bubbles.
